Hello, I'm Jinghao Huang, a first-year PhD candidate at the HIS Lab, Hong Kong University of Science and Technology (Guangzhou), where I enrolled in Spring 2026 under the supervision of Prof. Dengbo He. My research focuses on human factors engineering in autonomous driving, with specific focus areas including:
Prior to my PhD studies, I earned a Bachelor’s degree (2020) and a Master’s degree (2023) from Xi’an Jiaotong University. During this period, I specialized in the pre-research and commercialization of 3C products, holding full-time roles or internships in human-computer interaction, human factors engineering, product management, and UX design at organizations such as Huawei, Honor, BYD, NIO, Li Auto, and the HMI Lab of the Chinese Academy of Sciences. These experiences have equipped me with extensive practical expertise in the pre-research and commercialization of 3C products.
I look forward to collaborating with peers on future autonomous vehicle comfort research to advance China’s automotive intelligence. Beyond academia, I welcome exchanges on 3C product-related entrepreneurship and research initiatives.
Below are projects I have led or participated in. Details of additional projects (prior to 2023) can be found in my design portfolio
